| Join Breakthrough Saint Paul! | | | | BSP matches outstanding teachers with outstanding students | Breakthrough Saint Paul (BSP) is looking for motivated Saint Paul Public Schools sixth graders to
participate in its challenging, two-year, year-round academic
enrichment program. During six weeks in the summer and on 14
Saturdays throughout the school year, students take advanced classes in
math, science, history, and English, and experience fun and engaging
activities like theatre, music, art, and athletics. All of the
classes at BSP are taught by passionate high school and college
students who are trained and mentored by professional teachers.
The mission of BSP is to help SPPS students stay on the rigorous academic
track in school and get to college by encouraging them to internalize
the importance of education and to take responsibility for seeking
challenges in school.
Program Details:
- TUITION-FREE. Students pay nothing to participate due to
the generosity of foundations, corporations, and individuals.
However, families do contribute their time and support, and students
contribute by their constant attendance and motivation.

- Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided by SPPS to all students free of charge. Students may bring lunch if desired.
